It is a country rich in plant and wildlife species. With numerous volcanoes, many of which are still active, as well as lakes, rivers, and wetlands that provide stunning landscapes, Nicaragua is often referred to as "The land of lakes and volcanoes."Having a tropical climate, agriculture is a major economic pillar in Nicaragua, offering significant livelihood opportunities for local residents. The country's cocoa bean production primarily comes from highly productive areas, including Bocay, El Cua, La Dalia, and New Guinea. Rugoso cacao beans are 100% Nicaraguan single-origin cacao beans, derived from the Trinitario-Acriollado variety (a crossbreed of local native varieties). Each batch of cocoa beans contains up to 40% White Varieties, resulting in a unique flavour profile. The new product, Nicaragua Rugoso 71% Dark Chocolate, is exceptionally creamy with abundant smoothness. It features notes of spices and floral fragrances, leaning towards the flavours of matured or preserved dark fruits. Additionally, there's a subtle woody sensation, making it an excellent match for strong spirits like brandy or whiskey.
