It boasts abundant ecological resources, biodiversity, and fertile plains, making it one of the finest cacao cultivation areas in the country. Cacao cultivation serves as a significant source of employment for local women and housewives. Arauca's cacao beans are rich in flavor, emitting a sweet aroma and a comforting taste, with hints of apricot, honeysuckle, cream, and cashew.

The cacao beans of Arauca originate from a privately-owned farm operated by Elizabeth Agudelo, a second-generation cacao cultivator. Elizabeth discovered the Arauqita5, a native cacao variety, on her farm. Our 70% dark chocolate begins with notes of toasted biscuits and dried apricots, offering a full and deep flavor akin to sandwiched candies. The presence of creamy richness and succulent tenderness is undeniable. A slightly elevated acidity balances the flavors, complementing a touch of Australian macadamia. Initially, you might not perceive much bitterness, or perhaps none at all, yet in reality, it exists, subtly masked by the inherent sweetness. Bronze Award at the 2023 International Chocolate Awards Asia-Pacific.
